Spencer Group’s specialist Build and Civil teams work closely in partnership to provide engineering solutions for Industrial, Commercial, Retail & Leisure and Healthcare sectors.

Our teams work closely with clients and stakeholders from concept design through to detailed design development/value engineering, robust feasibility budgets and detailed cost stages, and on to final handover to our construction delivery teams.

Throughout 2023 our teams have been involved in a range of projects across the UK including:

White Rose Station – Core Buildings

Spencer Build were appointed to design and construct two core buildings at White Rose Station, as part of the wider station development being handled by Spencer Group’s Rail division. The project is due to be completed and opened to the public in 2024.

Knauf Insulation St Helens Capacity Expansion Package

Works began on site in June to construct a new building extension and modifications to the existing Fibre Forming building and site infrastructure. The works include modifications to the existing Furnace building, construction of new foundations, support steel structure and construction of Furnace extension support steelwork.

Harrogate 47

Spencer Group were appointed by Gardiner & Theobald to design and construct a new estate road for a new business park development named Harrogate 47.

Harrogate 47 is at the intersection of the A59 and runs adjacent to the A1 (M) at Junction 47. The new development will include offices, high tech/hybrid units, industrial/warehouse units and roadside retail and amenities.
